Union Depot reached out to West Design to create a spring photo activation for their historic grand lobby. The result is a stunning floral installation anchored by a large circular green hedge backdrop adorned with cascading pink cherry blossoms, deep magenta blooms, and vibrant orange accents. Two towering floral columns wrapped in lush mixed arrangements flank the display, framing the scene beneath Union Depot's iconic hanging clock. Set against the venue's celebrated Beaux-Arts architecture — with soaring marble floors, warm golden walls, and elegant pendant lighting — the spring activation strikes a balance between grand and welcoming, bringing seasonal beauty to one of the Twin Cities' most storied spaces.

A bold, Minnesota-proud interior wall at Rosedale Center makes a playful first impression, featuring the phrase "Ope! You betcha we're going shopping." in crisp white lettering against a sleek matte black backdrop — a nod to classic Midwestern expressions. The Minnesota state outline logo anchors the left side of the wall, reinforcing the local identity. The space is finished with modern touches including a slatted ceiling with linear lighting, rustic wood bench planters, chartreuse yellow ottomans, and potted greenery, creating a welcoming and on-brand retail corridor.

West Design crafted a playful and eye-catching display celebrating the pollinator program that makes Arbor Lakes so unique — weaving together the charm of honeybee culture with the vibrant energy of the shopping center. The installation invites guests to pause, take notice, and feel connected to the living, buzzing community thriving right on the property, turning an everyday window into a moment of delight and discovery.

The installation features a charming three-car vintage train cart styled in rich red and warm wood tones, each car branded with the Union Depot name and filled with wooden crate shelving stocked with books, vintage luggage, and travel-themed décor. Set against the venue's breathtaking Beaux-Arts ceiling with its golden vaulted arches and classic pendant lighting, the refreshed display invites visitors to browse, take a book, and connect with the spirit of travel and exploration that defines Union Depot's storied history.
