Cheryse’s | Maplewood Mall

Creative Brief

Cheryse’s was envisioned as an urban fashion destination with a strong point of view. Early in the process, we asked what inspired the brand and what direction the space should lean into. The answer was immediate and clear: money.

From there, the goal became creating an environment that felt bold, expressive, and unmistakably confident—drawing from street influence and cultural cues, while still maintaining a sense of structure and visual clarity.

The Results

We translated that concept into a striking visual language centered around currency-inspired graphics. Custom-painted dollar signs create bold focal points throughout the space, while oversized $100 bill imagery adds layers of texture, movement, and storytelling.

A rich green palette anchors the design—both a direct nod to the concept and a vibrant backdrop that energizes the space. Balanced with clean fixtures and thoughtful merchandising, the environment maintains a sense of control while still embracing a slightly gritty, street-inspired edge.

The result is a space that feels confident, immersive, and unapologetically expressive—an environment with a clear identity that draws customers in and invites them to engage.
